CHINA PRINT 2009 International Label Printing Technology Area Invitation

The 7th Beijing International Printing Technology Exhibition (CHINA PRINT 2009) will be held from May 12th to 16th, 2009 at the New China International Exhibition Center (NCIEC). As the top printing show in China, CHINA PRINT 2009 will occupy a total show area of 120,000 square meters. It is estimated that more than 1000 exhibitors will present their products at CHINA PRINT 2009, attracting 160,000 professional visitors from over 100 countries or regions to attend.

The history of China’s Label printing industry starts in 1970s. With the country’s rapid economic development, especially the booming demand in packaging industry and anti-counterfeit industry, domestic label printing market has been experiencing a tremendous developing period with an annual growth rate of 15%~20%. Recent survey shows that there are over 97,000 printing enterprises in China with approximately 3.9 million employees. It is estimated that over 3000 companies are involved in label printing industry, producing over 1.2 billion square meters of label every year. 70 of them have annual revenue over RMB 20 million. Label printing is therefore considered an industry with a promising future in China.

Global market demand is changing rapidly, especially in an era of economic integration. New technologies and functions are urgently needed in label printing industry to satisfy various demands for new label products. In order to meet exhibitors’ requirement, CHINA PRINT 2009 will present International Label Printing Technology Area and Forum of China Label Technology as part or the exhibition. Both the special exhibition area and the theme forum could provide a wonderful opportunity for labeling industry insiders to gain latest market and technology information.
